Our Foundation

Empowering and supporting world-class learning and exemplary experiences in the Spring Lake Park Schools community.

A valued partner of the Spring Lake Park Schools, The Panther Foundation is a tax-exempt, non-political, non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The foundation raises financial support to fund grants for special projects. Projects are initiated by staff, parents and students to create exemplary student experiences, support world-class learning and sustain students and families in need. Examples include:

• Backpacks of school supplies
• Food packs for the weekend
• Specialized equipment
• Field trip and competition support
• And so much more

The foundation has come a long way since 2004, when 60 community members, came together with a desire to support the school district community. Volunteers were appointed to a board of directors, and in the first four years, more than 100 grants were presented for projects and another $30,000 was raised for "Fund-a-Dream" projects in the district.

Since 2004, more than $2.3 million dollars has been awarded. In 2024, The Panther Foundation celebrated 20 years of making a difference for our Spring Lake Park Schools community.
